inspired me so much.

I was just like you when I started out as a Pre-K teacher 14 years ago too. Super dedicated, some would say too dedicated!

So I sacrificed my own time off and self-care to create everything from scratch—games, centers, activities—just to make learning fun and engaging for my students. And it worked! My classroom was full of joy, and my students thrived.

But I was burning out. I was treading water, making all my own resources WHILE teaching. 

Then one year, I switched schools and ended up in kindergarten, and it was the hardest teaching year of my life. 

So when I came back to pre-k, it felt different, I found myself again, and I was so grateful! I realized that I am not meant to teach ANY OTHER grade…

Hence the name, Made for Pre-K.

I LOVE pre-k and using hands-on, play-based learning! Play-based teaching comes so naturally to me because that’s how I’ve always taught: open-ended exploration, child-led learning, and engaging activities designed to build real skills through play.

That experience has given me such empathy to relate to you, my friend, the teacher who feels stuck searching for the right resources to make it happen.
